Professional Staff Nurse, Labor & Delivery

UPMC Hamot is hiring a Professional Staff Nurse to join our Labor & Delivery team in the Women’s Hospital!

This position offers flexible working conditions and opportunities to work across areas in Labor & Delivery and Antepartum, with advancement to OB Triage. RNs work collaboratively within interdisciplinary teams to provide safe, compassionate care for women in all stages of pregnancy, supporting patients and providers throughout the continuum of obstetric care.

This position is full-time, rotating day/night shifts. Occasional weekend and holiday coverage required.

Previous nursing experience required.

Sign-On Bonus Details (Full-Time status)
• $15,000 sign-on bonus available for nurses with over one year of experience

Purpose: The Professional Staff Nurse is a Registered Nurse who sets and upholds standards of care while managing and providing patient care through independent judgment, communication, and collaboration. This role involves leadership, partnership, and supervision, fostering strong relationships with physicians, healthcare providers, patients, and families to achieve optimal outcomes across the continuum of care.
