Responsibilities and Expectations:
Diagnose, troubleshoot, repair, and maintain a wide range of commercial HVAC equipment. This includes air conditioning systems, fan coils, air handling units, chillers, boilers, pumps, cooling towers, Makeup Air Units, ERVs, WSHPs, HVAC Control Systems, and refrigeration/exhaust systems.
Diagnose electrical and mechanical faults and address maintenance risks effectively.
Find and fix small problems before they escalate into bigger, more expensive repairs, ensuring longevity for the customer's equipment.
Take pride in completing all jobs and paperwork in a neat, accurate, thorough, and timely manner.
Work under minimum supervision while respecting and leaning on a collaborative team when necessary.
Provide guidance and share knowledge with those just getting started in the trade.
Be an outgoing, friendly, and knowledgeable Service Technician who builds lasting relationships with customers (business owners and maintenance managers).
Provide your honest opinion based on the facts so customers can make an informed decision.
Be skilled in customer service, the collection of money, upselling for add-ons, and providing product knowledge and recommendations (providing options)
Observe safety regulations and be familiar with OSHA and EPA requirements.
Utilize clear mindfulness and communication with all stakeholders for team success.
Requirements:
Minimum 3+ years of Commercial HVAC service experience (REQUIRED).
EPA License required.
Selling experience (upselling, presenting options) is a plus.
Valid and current driver's license with an insurable driving record.
Strong drive to do the job right the first time and pride in your work.
Knowledge of troubleshooting HVAC Equipment and a lifelong learner mindset.
Proficiency with technology to work from an iPad and the ability to type a professional email (Microsoft Office experience required).
ServiceTitan experience is a plus.
NATE certification is a plus.

The compensation for this position is expected to range between $25.00 - $35.00 per hour. This range is a good-faith estimate, based on the qualifications necessary for the position, including experience, training, and other considerations permitted by law. Factors that may be used when making an offer may include a candidate’s skills, experience, the expected quality and quantity of work, and internal pay alignment, as needed.
