Customer Service Representative

The Customer Service Representative (CSR) manages front-desk operations, including greeting customers, scheduling appointments, discussing recommended services, and coordinating communication between customers and technicians.

RESPONSIBILITIES:

· Greet customers in person and by phone in a professional, positive manner.

· Schedule appointments and help manage the daily workflow of the shop.

· Create and update repair orders; maintain detailed and accurate customer records.

· Explain recommended services and obtain approval for estimates.

· Communicate with technicians to provide updates on vehicle status and timelines.

· Process payments and invoices.

· Assist with customer concerns and escalate issues when necessary.

· Keep the front office clean, organized, and welcoming.

REQUIREMENTS:

· High School Diploma or equivalent

· Valid driver’s license

· A minimum of 1 year of experience in a customer-facing role (automotive experience is highly preferred)

· Exceptional verbal and written communication skills with a focus on active listening and clear explanation of complex issues.

· Strong organizational skills and attention to detail for accurate record-keeping and billing.

· Basic computer proficiency; familiarity with automotive shop management software (SMS) is a plus.
