Clair Global Product is seeking an Electrical Draftsperson to join the Engineering department within our Manufacturing team. The Electrical Draftsperson will support the design, documentation, and production of professional audio systems including loudspeakers, amplifier racks, power and signal distribution, cable assemblies, and simple electronic subsystems infrastructure. This role focuses primarily on creating clear, accurate electrical and system-level documentation used by engineering, manufacturing, and field applications teams, with occasional support for installation or site-level documentation as needed. There is also opportunity for this role to flex into mechanical modeling and documentation.

• 2+ years of experience producing electrical or technical drawings.
• Strong ability to create:
• Schematics
• Wiring diagrams
• Harness drawings
• Pinouts and interconnect documentation

• Comfortable working with low-voltage signal and power systems.
• Proficient with CAD/ECAD tools such as AutoCAD, DraftSight, or similar.
• Strong attention to detail - especially around connector pins, wire labeling, and signal paths.

PREFERRED EXPERIENCE:

• Experience with professional audio, broadcast, or AV systems.
• Familiarity with common audio and power connectors (XLR, NL4/NL8, EP8, EtherCON, Socapex, etc.).
• Experience using AutoCAD Sheet Sets or similar structured drawing package systems.
• Experience with SolidWorks for mechanical modeling, assemblies, and drawings.
• Experience supporting manufacturing or production environments.
• Exposure to light PCB schematic tools (Altium, KiCad, Eagle, etc.).
• Understanding of analog and digital audio signal flow.
• Experience producing installation or construction documentation is a plus.

KEY RESPONSIBILITIES:

• Create and maintain:
• Electrical schematics for loudspeakers, amplifier racks, and accessory products
• System-level block and signal flow diagrams
• Rack wiring diagrams and interconnect drawings
• Cable and wiring harness drawings with pinouts, wire colors, and labeling
• Connector pinout tables and interface definitions
• Simple PCB schematics (connectors, power, indicators, basic logic)
• Use AutoCAD Sheet Sets (or equivalent) to organize multi-sheet drawing packages with consistent title blocks, revisions, and releases.
• Translate engineering concepts, sketches, and discussions into clean, standardized documentation.
• Support manufacturing by producing:
• Build drawings
• Wiring and harness documentation
• BOM support information
• Assembly-friendly prints and PDFs
• Support applications engineering by producing:
• System diagrams
• Signal flow documentation
• Interface and integration drawings
• Maintain drawing standards, naming conventions, and revision control.
• Collaborate closely with electrical, mechanical, and systems engineers to refine and update designs.
• Occasionally support mechanical design and documentation in SolidWorks, including simple part modeling, assemblies, and production drawings.
• Occasionally support installation or site-level documentation for deployed systems.
