Chemical Engineer

Key Requirements Include:- Bachelor’s or Master’s degree in Chemical Engineering.
- 5 to 7 years of relevant experience in chemical plant operations or design.
- Proven experience in manufacturing environments.
- Familiarity with AutoCAD Autodesk.
- Willingness to travel around 10% for client site visits.
- Strong self-motivation with the ability to work independently or in small teams.
- Capable of flexible work arrangements, including remote work when needed.
- Experience with process control systems and PLC implementation is desirable.
- A Professional Engineers License is advantageous but not mandatory.
In this role, you will:
- Conduct mass and energy balance calculations to optimize processes.
- Develop piping, instrumentation diagrams (P&ID), and process flow diagrams (PFDs).
- Design custom equipment tailored to project needs.
- Specify and procure equipment critical to process flows.
- Engineer pipe and skid systems ensuring safety and efficiency.
- Coordinate with fabrication teams during system construction.
- Participate in experimental work and process testing.
- Assist in commissioning R&D systems, pilot plants, and full-scale production setups.
- Prepare detailed project proposals for clients.
- Engage in safety initiatives, marketing efforts, and customer interactions.
- Contribute to process control specifications, including PLC systems.
- Operate small-scale systems for research and development purposes.
