We are a Home Health Care Agency located in the Greater Northeast Philadelphia area, currently seeking a Care Coordinator. This position entails engaging with the families of patients, managing staffing requirements, and facilitating the orientation of new field employees. Ideal candidates will possess considerable experience in hiring and staffing within the Home Care sector. The successful applicant will demonstrate exceptional communication skills, proficiency in building relationships with both employees and vendors, and a strong background in hiring, onboarding, and human resources. The objective is to ensure that staffing needs are effectively met while promoting a supportive work environment.

Responsibilities

• Oversee all staffing requirements.
• Collaborate with MCOs to find coverage for their members.
• Support the candidate screening and hiring processes.
• Facilitate post-hiring procedures, including employee relocation and legal documentation.
• Assist in the preparation of the employee's personnel binder.
• Develop shift schedules by assigning employees to appropriate positions.
• Manage timekeeping and handle time-off requests.
• Work with the payroll department to ensure accurate employee compensation.
• Ensure compliance with both internal and external policies and regulations.
• Prepare and submit reports on staffing operations.

Skills

• Proven experience as a staffing coordinator or similar position for a Home Health Care Agency
• Experience in planning and execution of HR plans (onboarding, hiring etc.)
• Billing experience in HHA Exchange or willingness to learn
• Solid knowledge of relevant legal regulations (equal employment opportunity, etc.)
• Must be able to multi-task and work in a fast office environment
• Knowledge of staffing policies, procedures, and best practices
• Outstanding organizational and leadership skills
• Excellent communication and interpersonal abilities (Spanish speaking Preferred)
• Reliable with respect to confidentiality
