Lead Carpenter Foreman

Job Summary
We are seeking an experienced and highly organized Lead Carpenter Foreman to oversee construction projects from inception to completion. The ideal candidate will possess strong management skills, extensive construction site experience, and proficiency with industry-standard software. This role involves supervising teams, coordinating project activities, ensuring safety compliance, and maintaining quality standards.

Duties

• Lead and supervise construction teams on-site in tasks such as framing, carpentry, roofing, siding, drywall and finishing work, ensuring adherence to project plans and safety protocols.
• Read and Interpret blueprints, schematics, and technical drawings to ensure accurate project execution.
• Coordinate material procurement, delivery schedules, and ensure proper staging.
• Oversee use of hand tools, power tools to complete tasks efficiently.
• Read and interpret blueprints, schematics, and construction documents to guide project execution
• Perform heaving lifting and assist with complex tasks such as concrete forming, rebar installation, masonry work, plumbing, electrical wiring and tile laying.
• Ensure all work adheres to safety protocols and building codes; conduct regualr safety inspections
• Manage individual project timelines, quality control, and troubleshoot issues as they arise during construction projects.
• Communicate with subcontractors, suppliers, and team members to facilitate smooth project flow.
• Maintain detailed documentation of project progress and communicate updates.

Requirements

• Proven experience in residential construction management with a strong background in managing large-scale projects
• Some knowledge of blueprint reading, schematics interpretation, metal stud framing, plastering, caulking, stucco application, water damage restoration, mold remediation, fixture installation, cabinet installation and door hanging.
• Hands on experience with hand tools, power tools, fabrication equipment and heavy machinery.
• Ability to perform heaving lifting and physically demanding tasks for extended periods.
• Familiarity with OSHA regulations and safety protocols on construction sites
• Strong management skills with the ability to lead teams effectively while maintaining high standards of quality.
• Relevant certifications or license related to construction trades are preferred, but not mandatory. This role offers an opportunity for a skilled carpentry professional to lead diverse projects within a dynamic environment while demonstrating expertise across multiple construction disciplines.
