Position Description
CGI is seeking an experienced leader to join the program and help grow the business within Data space at a large bank.
Contribute to the growth of the program by bringing your Data expertise in support of program delivery, member growth and development, business development and operational excellence.
You will be part of the overall leadership team and provide expertise, guidance, consultation, facilitation, and thought leadership to the client and CGI members.

Your future duties and responsibilities
Bachelor's Degree and 12+ years of professional experience consulting with a proven track record in successful track record in delivery
. Provide consultative guidance for data management and governance within the company as well as for clients
. Strong people management, experienced in leading, empowering, and developing high performing teams.
. Collaborate with stakeholders across departments to address gaps and pain points in a data journey
. Project management expertise with a successful delivery track record
.

Required qualifications to be successful in this role
Deep experience with Python, Java, or Scala
. Experience or understanding with Kafka or Spark
. Familiarity with microservice architecture
. Strong client-facing experience as a data engineer/consultant
. Strong understanding of analytics and data science
Strong communication skills
Strong with data domain - Datawarehouse, datalake, lakehouse etc.
Knowledge and experience of building data pipelines using Kafka
Well aware of the latest in AI - GenAI etc.
. Keen eye for detail
. Cross-sell and deliver on data projects for key clients, growing revenue and producing case studies to promote the data science service
. Strong decision making, judgment and analytical skills.
. Experience with client engagement management and relationship building.
. Excellent communication skills, both verbal and written.
. Excellent organizational skills and demonstrated emotional intelligence; ability to juggle numerous client stakeholders, delivery, and business development activities.

CGI is required by law in some jurisdictions to include a reasonable estimate of the compensation range for this role. The determination of this range includes various factors not limited to skill set, level, experience, relevant training, and licensure and certifications. To support the ability to reward for merit-based performance, CGI typically does not hire individuals at or near the top of the range for their role. Compensation decisions are dependent on the facts and circumstances of each case. A reasonable estimate of the current range for this role in the U.S. is $127,500.00 - $251,100.00.
