hat you can expect at your practice: S
- eeking an Audiologist to perform diagnostic testing 3 days a week (8am-5pm) across all age groups and populations. This role focuses exclusively on diagnostic evaluations, with no responsibilities for hearing device fitting, programming, or maintenance. C
- onduct hearing evaluations and diagnostic tests to assess auditory and balance disorders for all ages. I
- nterpret test results and provide accurate diagnoses of hearing impairments or balance issues. C
- ounsel patients and their families on hearing loss, treatment options, and effective communication strategies. E
- ducate patients on the prevention of hearing loss, including noise exposure risks and ear protection. P
- erform otoscopic examination. C
- ollaborate with other healthcare professionals to coordinate patient care and referral services. M
- aintain accurate and thorough patient records and documenting diagnosis. P
- erform vestibular assessments and manage balance disorder treatments (if applicable). P
- erform administrative duties such as scheduling appointments and managing patient referrals. S
- tay updated with the latest advancements in audiology through continuous education and training. I
- mplement and/or coordinate community, school-based, or occupational hearing screening and conservation programs (if applicable). S
- upervise audiology assistants who provide support functions to the practice of audiology in addition to audiology students (if applicable) O

ualifications

- octoral degree in Audiology (Au.D) from an accredited program S
- tate licensure or eligibility for licensure as an audiologist C
- ertification from the American Speech-Language-Hearing Association (ASHA) or equivalent (preferred). E
- xcellent communication and interpersonal skills to effectively counsel patients. C
