Position Overview:
The Dispatcher is responsible for coordinating transport requests, ensuring timely responses, and maintaining clear communication with crews and customers. This role requires strong organizational skills, problem-solving abilities, and a commitment to excellent customer service.

Key Responsibilities:

• Dispatch and coordinate transport requests, relaying information to field crews.
• Ensure all transports are picked up promptly and crews are accounted for at all times.
• Notify callers of delays or changes in transport schedules.
• Monitor and update schedules throughout the shift.
• Assist with problem-solving and operational challenges.
• Perform all duties of a Customer Service Representative, as needed.

Qualifications:

• Minimum of 1 year of EMS Dispatch experience required.
• Strong computer skills, including database and spreadsheet programs.
• Ability to multitask and prioritize in a fast-paced environment.
• Clear, effective, and professional communication skills.
• Strong customer service orientation with the ability to build trust and rapport.
• High school diploma or GED required.
• EMT-Basic certification preferred.
• Experience with data entry and working knowledge of Microsoft systems (2000/XP or later) preferred.
• Professional appearance, positive attitude, initiative, and high performance standards required.
