Job Duties
About the Team
At Geisinger, you'll work alongside a dedicated, multidisciplinary team of pediatric emergency professionals, including:
Over 50 certified Pediatric Emergency Medicine nurses across the system
In-house Pediatric Hospitalists and Neonatologists available 24/7
Certified Child Life Specialists to support children and families during care
Advanced practice providers (APPs) and emergency medicine physicians
Fellowship-trained PEM physicians who lead initiatives in education, quality improvement, and clinical innovation
Collaborative subspecialty support from nearly every pediatric medical and surgical specialty within our 90-bed children's hospital

Compensation & Benefits
Starting salary: $350,000
Fellowship stipend: $2,500/month from offer acceptance to graduation
Forgivable recruitment loan: $100,000 paid in the first month

Geisinger Medical Center (GMC) in Danville, PA , is the region's largest tertiary/quaternary care teaching hospital , licensed for 475 beds , including 89 pediatric beds within the Janet Weis Children's Hospital . MD or DO degree
Board-certified/board-eligible in Pediatric Emergency Medicine
Completion of an ACGME-accredited PEM fellowship
Strong clinical, interpersonal, and leadership skills
