Job Description

As a Security Officer - Chemical Plant Patrol Driver in Boyertown, PA , you will serve and safeguard clients in a range of industries such as Chemical/Petrochemical, and more. As a Patrol Officer with Allied Universal, you will play a key role in helping to deter security-related incidents and providing a welcoming presence at a chemical and petrochemical location. Your responsibilities will include conducting regular patrols, maintaining visibility, and creating positive interactions with employees and visitors. This is a driving post, so you will be responsible for both foot and vehicle patrols as needed. What You'll Do:

• Provide customer service to clients by carrying out security-related procedures, site-specific policies, and when appropriate, emergency response activities at the chemical or petrochemical location.
• Respond to incidents and critical situations in a calm, problem-solving manner, addressing security-related concerns as they arise.
• Conduct regular and random unarmed patrols around the business premises and perimeter to help to deter unauthorized activity and/or suspicious behavior.
• Monitor for potential hazards or unusual conditions specific to chemical or petrochemical environments and report findings promptly.
• Work collaboratively with site personnel and emergency responders to address incidents and/or emergencies according to established protocols.
• Maintain detailed records and logs of patrols, incidents, and observations to support site security-related operations.
• Follow all Allied Universal and client-specific guidelines to help to maintain a secure environment.

Minimum Requirements:

• At least 6 months of security-related experience is required.
• Applicants must be 21 years of age or older.
• A valid driver's license is required in accordance with Allied Universal driver policy requirements.
• Customer service experience is preferred.
• Comfort using a computer or tablet is preferred.
• Be at least 18 years of age for unarmed roles; 21+ years of age for armed roles.
• Possess a high school diploma or equivalent.
• As a condition of employment, applicants will be subject to a background investigation in accordance with all federal, state, and local laws.
• Allied Universal will consider qualified applications with criminal histories in a manner consistent with applicable laws.
• As a condition of employment, applicants will be subject to a drug screen to the extent permitted by law.
• Licensing requirements are subject to state and/or local laws and regulations and may be required prior to employment.
• A valid driver's license will be required for driving positions only.
