Diesel Mechanic

We are seeking a skilled and reliable Diesel Mechanic to join our maintenance team. You will be responsible for the repair and preventative maintenance of a diverse fleet, ranging from Class 8 tractors and trailers to medium-duty delivery trucks. The ideal candidate is a problem-solver who takes pride in "fixing it right the first time" to keep our fleet safe and on the road.

Primary Responsibilities

• Diagnostics: Perform high-level diagnostics on diesel engines (Cummins, Detroit, Paccar, etc.) using computer-based diagnostic software.

• Mechanical Repairs: Execute complex repairs on engines, transmissions, differentials, and fuel systems.

• Brakes & Suspension: Perform full brake jobs (air and hydraulic), suspension tuning, and wheel end maintenance.

• Electrical Systems: Troubleshoot and repair complex electrical systems, including lighting, starting/charging, and after-treatment systems (DPF/SCR).

• Preventative Maintenance (PM): Conduct routine oil changes, fluid checks, and comprehensive safety inspections to DOT standards.

• Documentation: Maintain accurate records of all work performed via digital shop management software.

• Experience: 3+ years of experience in heavy-duty diesel repair (Dealership or Fleet experience preferred).
