Grinder Technician
Now hiring Grinder Technicians for a company in McKees Rocks.
Weekly pay ranging between $17 - $21 per hour, depending on experience.
Job Duties:
- Set up, operate, and adjust spring grinding machines according to engineering drawings, work instructions, and customer specifications.
- Load and align springs and grinding wheels, verifying correct machine settings prior to production runs.
- Monitor grinding operations to maintain consistent coil length, diameter, and surface finish within specified tolerances.
- Inspect finished springs using precision measuring tools and gauges to verify quality and accuracy.
- Make real-time adjustments to machine parameters to correct deviations and optimize performance.
- Perform routine preventative maintenance, cleaning, and lubrication of grinding equipment.
Requirements:
- Previous experience with operating grinding machinery is preferred.
- Ability to read and understand blueprints.
- Knowledge of measuring instruments.
