Role Description

We are seeking an experienced and skilled Automotive Collision Repair Technician to join our team in a full-time capacity. As a Collision Repair Technician, you will play a critical role in repairing and refinishing vehicles to the highest standards of quality, ensuring customer satisfaction and loyalty. Your expertise will help us maintain our reputation for excellence in collision repair.

Key Responsibilities

• Repair and refinish vehicles according to industry standards and manufacturer guidelines
• Diagnose and repair damage to vehicle bodies, frames, and mechanical components
• Utilize welding, metalworking, and painting skills to restore vehicles to pre-accident condition
• Work collaboratively with estimators, painters, and other technicians to ensure efficient and high-quality repairs
• Stay up-to-date with industry developments and new technologies to continuously improve repair skills
• Maintain a clean and organized workspace, adhering to safety protocols and company standards
• Communicate effectively with customers, providing updates and explaining repair procedures

Qualifications

• 2+ years of experience in collision repair or a related field
• Automotive Service Excellence (ASE) certification in Collision Repair (preferred)
• I-CAR certification or equivalent (preferred)
• Familiarity with collision repair estimating software and procedures
• Strong mechanical aptitude and problem-solving skills
• Ability to work efficiently and effectively in a fast-paced environment
• Excellent attention to detail and commitment to quality workmanship
• Physical ability to lift up to 50 pounds and work in a standing position for extended periods
