Underground Equipment Operator - Telecommunications

Responsibilities:
- Handle a wide range of manual labor tasks involved in telecommunications construction work.
- Support construction technicians to maintain smooth and efficient project workflow.
- Handle loading, transporting, lifting, and positioning of materials as required.
- Manage and organize tools, ensuring everything is kept in proper order.
- Carry out vegetation clearing, including trimming trees and removing brush around job sites.
- Assist with entry into confined spaces.
- Support traffic control operations within active work areas.
- Ensure all safety guidelines are followed and that incidents are reported correctly.
- Communicate clearly with team members and supervisors to coordinate tasks.
Skills/Must have:
- Valid driver’s license; CDL-A beneficial but not required.
- Two years’ telecom field experience preferred.
- Forklift/heavy equipment operation experience; certification preferred.
- Flagger certification, or willingness to obtain within six months.
