The Youth Enrichment Project is seeking a compassionate, dependable, and open-minded Direct Support Professional to join our team. In this role, you will provide one-on-one support to an individual in their home and community, helping foster independence, confidence, and meaningful life skills. We are looking for someone who is kind, professional, respectful, and committed to creating a safe and affirming environment for individuals of all backgrounds and identities. Schedule:
Approximately 8 hours per week
Weekday afternoons (MondayFriday) Responsibilities:
Provide one-on-one support in the home and community
Assist with developing independence and daily living skills
Encourage community involvement and engagement
Maintain a safe, supportive, respectful, and inclusive environment Qualifications:
Compassionate, patient, and dependable
Strong communication and interpersonal skills
Ability to work respectfully with diverse populations, including LGBTQ+ individuals
Experience working with individuals with disabilities is a plus, but not required This is a great opportunity for someone looking to make a meaningful impact while working a flexible, part-time schedule. There is also room for growth within the organization.
