Life Enrichment Coordinator
We are seeking a compassionate and creative Life Enrichment Coordinator to join our team. In this role, you will be responsible for developing and implementing engaging activities and programs that enhance the quality of life for our residents. Your enthusiasm and dedication will help foster a vibrant, supportive, and enriching environment for all.
Key Responsibilities:
- Plan, organize, and facilitate a variety of recreational, social, and educational activities tailored to residents' interests and needs
- Assess residents' preferences and abilities to create personalized activity plans
- Coordinate with staff, families, and community resources to ensure a diverse and inclusive activity schedule
- Monitor and evaluate the effectiveness of programs, making adjustments as needed
- Maintain accurate records of resident participation and activity outcomes
- Promote a positive and engaging atmosphere that encourages social interaction and emotional well-being
Skills and Qualifications:
- Previous experience in activity planning, recreation, or a related field, preferably in senior living or healthcare settings
- Excellent communication and interpersonal skills
- Creativity and enthusiasm for developing engaging programs
- Ability to work independently and as part of a team
- Strong organizational and time-management skills
- Compassionate, patient, and attentive to residents' needs
- Knowledge of safety protocols and regulations related to activity programming
