Logistics Coordinator (Direct Hire) - Waynesboro, PA Pay: $18.00 - $19.00 per hour

A Day in the Life In this role, you aren’t just moving freight; you are the pulse of the supply chain. You will be responsible for the end-to-end coordination of shipments, ensuring that every product reaches its destination efficiently. Your day-to-day will involve:

• Managing Movement: Partnering with transportation providers to schedule and track prompt shipment movement.

• Reviewing Accuracy: Auditing purchase orders and shipping documentation with a fine-tooth comb to ensure everything is compliant and error-free.

• Problem Solving: Identifying potential delays and proactively resolving errors before they impact the client.

• Professional Communication: Serving as a reliable point of contact for vendors and internal teams to keep operations transparent.

• Tech Management: Using business software and internal databases to log communication and shipment history.

Responsibilities

• Shipment Coordination: Act as the primary point of contact for transportation providers to ensure all shipments are moved promptly and according to schedule.

• Documentation Review: High attention to detail is required to audit purchase orders and shipping documents, ensuring all paperwork is accurate and compliant before processing.

• Proactive Tracking: Monitor the status of shipments in real-time, identifying potential delays and working quickly to resolve errors or transit issues.

• Customer & Vendor Relations: Respond to customer inquiries with professionalism, providing clear updates on shipment status and directing clients to the appropriate departments when necessary.

• Quality Control: Ensure all logistics services meet company standards and customer expectations, maintaining a high level of service across the supply chain.

• Internal Collaboration: Communicate effectively with internal teams and vendors to keep logistics operations running smoothly and transparently.

• Data Management: Utilize business software and computer systems daily to maintain accurate documentation and log communication with partners.

• Task Prioritization: Manage multiple deadlines and shifting priorities in a fast-paced environment, ensuring no detail is overlooked during busy shipping windows.
