Basic Job Functions: Seeking a creative, forward-thinking, process-minded effective communicator to join our team. The EHS Supervisor will include but are not limited to:
- The EHS Supervisor will lead and coordinate the Environmental, Health and Safety programs for NTSPA
- This includes taking a lead role in plant-wide culture building, environmental and safety management, training, audits and community outreach.
- This position is responsible for interacting with all teammates to ensure understanding of and compliance with federal, state and local environmental and safety regulations.
- This position develops and provides applicable training to ensure compliance with key regulatory requirements, participates in corporate environmental and safety initiatives and is responsible for water treatment operations.
- Minimum of a High school diploma/GED
- Must have at least 5 years of experience in a Safety and/or Environmental position
- Must have at least 2 years of operations experience
- Effective communication, interpersonal, and conflict resolution skills
- Commitment to safety, actively involved in their division's safety initiatives
- Bachelor's Degree from an accredited university in safety or environment
- Environmental or occupational safety experience in an industrial setting
- Knowledge of wastewater treatment operations
- Knowledge of OSHA and EPA regulations, including industrial hygiene and testing
- Proficiency in Microsoft Office programs
- Must have supervisor and/or manager recommendation and must be able to perform all essential functions of the job with or without reasonable accommodation.
