Business Analyst

Job Title: Business Analyst Job Description

The Business Analyst will serve as a key liaison between business units and the Information Systems team, ensuring the organization’s ERP systems and related business applications operate efficiently and meet evolving business needs. This role is focused on maintaining and optimizing systems rather than developing them, as third-party developers are used for that purpose.

Responsibilities

• Maintain, support, and optimize the organization’s ERP and other business systems.
• Perform day-to-day break/fix activities and ensure timely resolution of system issues.
• Plan and execute system upgrades, patches, and enhancements.
• Partner with department leaders to understand business processes and requirements.
• Translate business needs into system solutions and functional specifications.
• Provide training and support to end-users on the business systems’ functionality and best practices.
• Monitor and maintain database performance, ensuring data integrity and system reliability.
• Develop and execute SQL queries for reporting, troubleshooting, and data analysis.
• Work closely with third-party developers to implement customizations and integrations while safeguarding performance standards.
• Maintain accurate documentation of system configurations, workflows, and procedures.
• Ensure compliance with internal policies and industry standards for data security and system usage.

Essential Skills

• 3+ years experience supporting ERP systems.
• Proficiency in SQL and/or other database concepts.
• Understanding of business processes across multiple departments (sales, operations, finance, etc.).

Additional Skills & Qualifications

• Infor Visual ERP experience is a plus.
• Experience with reporting tools and BI platforms is a plus.
• Excellent communication and problem-solving abilities.
• Ability to work independently in a rapidly changing environment.
• Ability to manage multiple priorities and work collaboratively across teams.

Work Environment

The work schedule is Monday through Friday, from 8:00 am to 5:00 pm, with some flexibility. The organization has been a leader in the extrusion industry for over 50 years. The work environment is professional with a business casual dress code.

This is a Permanent position based out of York, PA.

Pay And Benefits

The pay range for this position is $85000.00 - $100000.00/yr.
