• Location: York, PA 17408 (York, Pennsylvania)
• Assignment Type: Travel assignment / Travel Nurse
• Unit: Operating Room (OR) – Perioperative Nursing / Surgical RN
• Shifts: Evening shift — 5 shifts per week (Monday–Friday), 8 hours per shift (3:00 PM – 11:30 PM)
• Hours per Week: 40
• Assignment Duration: 13 weeks (March 23, 2026 – June 21, 2026)
• On-Call: One general call shift and one back-up call shift during the week; two call shifts (general and back-up) on a weekend every 6 weeks (Saturday & Sunday 7:00 AM – Monday 7:00 AM)
• Estimated Weekly Salary Range: $2000-$2100

Job Requirements / Qualifications

• Active and unrestricted RN license (per state requirements)
• Minimum of 2 years of recent Operating Room RN or perioperative nursing experience required
• Current BLS certification (American Heart Association preferred)
• Strong clinical skills in perioperative nursing, sterile technique, and intraoperative monitoring
• Excellent communication, teamwork, and collaboration with surgeons, anesthesiologists, and surgical technologists
• Ability to participate in required on-call rotations and respond to intraoperative emergencies

Primary Responsibilities

• Provide direct patient care in the Operating Room, ensuring patient safety and comfort throughout surgical procedures
• Assist and collaborate with surgeons, anesthesiologists, and perioperative staff to deliver high-quality surgical care
• Prepare, maintain, and monitor the sterile environment in the OR using best practices in infection control
• Monitor patients before, during, and after surgery, including intraoperative documentation and handoffs
• Accurately document all aspects of patient care and perioperative procedures in the medical record
• Respond to emergencies and participate in on-call coverage as scheduled, supporting continuity of care
