CT Technologist Job Details

• Assignment Duration: 13 weeks
• Shift: Evening shift, 10 hours

CT Technologist Qualifications

• Graduate of an accredited Radiologic Technology or CT Technologist program
• Current CT certification (ARRT-CT preferred)
• Minimum 1 year of recent experience as a CT Technologist in a hospital or clinical setting
• Strong communication skills and ability to work independently in a fast-paced healthcare environment
• Comprehensive knowledge of diagnostic imaging, radiation safety, and medical equipment management

Key Responsibilities

• Perform CT scans and imaging procedures for physician diagnosis and patient treatment
• Operate CT scanners, power injectors, and related computer systems
• Apply and maintain imaging protocols based on clinical criteria, anatomy, and established healthcare guidelines
• Prepare, position, and shield patients for optimal scan quality and safety
• Conduct CT interventional procedures and advanced CTA studies (including TAVR, EVAR, Cardiac imaging)
• Verify lab results prior to exams and utilize knowledge of pharmacology and physiology
• Interpret technical factors to ensure high-quality imaging and patient safety
• Adhere to all hospital policies, procedures, and compliance standards
