RENDERING HIDES PRODUCTION HOURLY
Description
Position at Mopac
Take up – 6am to finish (typically 2:30pm) - dependent on volume and production and/or maintenance delays
Job requirements
- Pull (75- 80 lb.) hides with hook from raceways and hook hides onto power rail
- When raceway empties, pull remaining hides from raceway base
- Grading and folding of fleshed hides
- Stacking hides on pallets
- Trimming of Hides as required
- Maintain / Clean up work area throughout the day
- Required to rotate among other take-up positions to prevent fatigue
Qualifications
- Trained in knife safety
- Physically demanding position- requires stamina to perform job tasks
