Transportation Intern (Supply Chain)

This internship provides hands-on experience in transportation coordination within a dynamic supply chain environment. Interns will gain exposure to real-world challenges, systems, and operations, supporting the organization's logistical needs and delivering exceptional service to our customers.-

Transportation Coordination -

• Communicate daily with carriers to secure equipment for material delivery.-

• Collaborate with customer service to-monitor-shipping requirements and performance.-

• Utilize systems like TMS, SAP, and Salesforce to tender loads,-monitor-costs, and track shipments.-

• Support the logistic and overall supply plan and recognize where changes in capacity requirements may impede carrier related service.-

• Address carrier-related service issues and implement corrective actions.-

• Participate in carrier performance reviews and stay updated on transportation regulations.-

Requirements:

• Currently pursuing a Bachelor's Degree in Supply Chain, Logistics, Business, or a related field.

• Strong organizational skills with the ability to manage multiple priorities.-

• Proficiency-in Microsoft Office Suite (Excel, Word, PowerPoint)

• Familiarity with ERP systems such as SAP and CRM tools like Salesforce is a plus.

• Excellent communication and problem-solving skills.-

• Ability to work independently and as part of a team.
