Business Support Analyst - Erie, PA

PRIMARY RESPONSIBILITIES:

. Support the business functions of Field Operations with a focus on business process design, testing, implementation, training, trouble shooting and maintenance within the Field Operations department

. Work with multiple computer systems and applications utilized in the Operations department to understand data within each system and how it relates to business processes.

. Coordinate related activities with the Information Technology department for ongoing projects as necessary

. Collaborate with team members and Field Operations supervisors and technicians to support daily activities including critical reporting, troubleshooting employee system issues, and developing solutions to help solve problems as they arise

. Develop training material and train both supervisory and hourly department employees

. Back-up to others in Business Support roles as needed for clerical staff, business analysis and budgeting, and operations order dispatching

MINIMUM QUALIFICATIONS:

. Bachelor's degree in a business-related field

. Aptitude to quickly learn new technology, including the current software systems utilized by the company

. Ability to work in both an individual and team setting to accomplish common goals and initiatives

. Excellent computer skills including proficiency in the Microsoft Office Suite (Word, Excel, etc.)

. Desire to work in the field and office settings to gain thorough knowledge of the Operations department

. Ability to travel to remote operating offices as needed

PREFERRED QUALIFICATIONS:

. Experience in computer systems development, testing, and/or implementation

. Prior experience in training office and field employees

. Experience in various systems and applications, including SAP, PeopleSoft, and GIS

. Any experience in the Agile process to test and analyze software applications.

COMPENSATION AND BENEFITS:

The base salary for this position is $62,500 - 75,000.

This job posting contains a pay range, which represents the range of pay that National Fuel believes, in good faith, at the time of this posting that it might be willing to pay for the posted job. The specific base pay offered to a successful applicant will be based primarily on relevant professional experience. Other components that may be considered include: individual qualifications, licensures, industry specific experience, education and market demands for specialized skills. The pay range is subject to change at any time based on various internal and external factors. Exempt positions will also be eligible for an Annual Cash Bonus Plan.
