Director – Structural Restoration & Asset Management (Leadership Role)

A growing, technically driven engineering organization is looking to add a senior-level leader to oversee and expand its structural restoration and asset management practice. This is a high-impact role suited for someone who enjoys building teams, driving client relationships, and leading complex rehabilitation projects involving concrete and steel structures.

What You’ll Be Doing:

• Take the lead in shaping and growing a restoration/asset management division across multiple regions
• Drive business development efforts through client engagement, industry events, and strategic pursuits
• Oversee proposals, presentations, and contract negotiations for new work
• Manage and mentor engineering teams while maintaining high technical standards
• Direct condition assessments, restoration design, and construction-phase services for structural rehabilitation projects
• Provide technical oversight on concrete and steel repair programs, including parking structures and infrastructure assets
• Review and finalize engineering reports, repair strategies, and construction documents
• Ensure quality control across all restoration deliverables and internal workflows
• Collaborate with clients, contractors, and consultants to ensure successful project execution

What They’re Looking For:

• Licensed Professional Engineer (PE)
• Degree in Civil or Structural Engineering (advanced degree preferred)
• 7+ years of experience focused on structural restoration, rehabilitation, or forensic engineering
• Strong background with concrete systems exposed to environmental deterioration (parking structures, bridges, etc.)
• Proven leadership or project management experience, including managing subconsultants
• Familiarity with tools such as AutoCAD, Revit, and structural analysis software (ETABS, SAFE, ADAPT a plus)
• Ability to lead client interactions and build long-term relationships
• Strong written and verbal communication skills
