$12 hourly to start

Responsibilities:

• Greet incoming and departing guests warmly, escort them to the assigned dining area, present menus, and announce the waiter’s name.
• Use visual cues to seat guests in either the bar or dining area, depending on their preference.
• Answer incoming calls to the restaurant and provide appropriate service.
• Tend to special guest needs and requests.
• Manage the seating chart
• Put guests on waitlists and manage the list.
• Receive takeout orders and use the POS.
• Assist dining room staff by setting and clearing tables, replenishing water, and serving beverages.
• Various side work.
• Issue dining charges, verify orders, calculate taxes, and total bills for to-go orders.
• Receive payments by validating credit card charges, approving checks, accept currency.
• Reconcile cash drawer, prove cash transactions, list checks, and credit card charges for to-go orders.
• Other duties as assigned by management.

ESSENTIAL SKILLS:

• Upbeat and outgoing individual.
• Able to assist guests and possess great guest relations skills.
• Able to work positively in a fast-paced environment.
• Strong teamwork skills.
• Customer service-oriented ensures each guest has an excellent experience.

EDUCATION AND EXPERIENCE REQUIRED:

• At least one (1) year of restaurant experience is preferred.
