Position Type: Full-Time, Permanent

Compensation: $110,000 - $150,000 per year

The Role

We are seeking an Accounting Services Manager to join an established, regional CPA and advisory firm in Bucks County. In this high-touch leadership role, you will oversee client engagements across accounting, tax, and advisory disciplines for a diverse portfolio of closely held businesses and multi-industry clients.

Key Responsibilities

• Engagement Planning & Execution: Plan, execute, and manage accounting engagements, including compilations, reviews, and multi-disciplinary advisory projects.

• Tax Compliance & Advisory: Oversee tax service delivery, including complex federal, multi-state, and local tax return preparation, and actively participate in proactive client tax planning.

• Client Relationship Management: Serve as a primary client advisor, maintaining direct contact with business owners and executives to understand their operational needs and strategic goals.

• Team Leadership & Mentorship: Delegate work effectively to seniors and staff, perform detailed workpaper reviews, and provide hands-on training and supervision.

• Firm Growth: Contribute to firm development by cultivating client relationships, expanding professional networks, and participating in structured business development training.

Requirements

• Experience: 7+ years of current, progressive public accounting experience across both accounting services (reviews/compilations) and taxation.

• Credentials: Active CPA license required.

• Software Skills: Proficiency with public accounting software such as CCH Engagement, CCH Axcess, MS Office Suite, and Adobe in a paperless environment.

• Attributes: Strong organizational skills, creative problem-solving ability, and excellent interpersonal, written, and verbal communication skills.
