As an Electrical Engineer, you will conduct and manage investigations involving residential, commercial and industrial electrical systems; examine and assess electrical equipment and components; and conduct fire origin and cause investigations. You will interact with clients and other consultants, manage multiple, unique projects, and prepare written reports summarizing your analyses.
Engineering Design & Testing Corp. (EDT) is an association of engineers committed to the study, interpretation and resolution of loss. With 15 offices nationwide, EDT engineers are well regarded as technical and scientific resources when determining the root causes of losses involving people, property, and products of manufacture. Our engineers are also called upon to assess the scope of damage to commercial and industrial facilities and equipment. Our clients include insurance-related firms and companies, law firms, government agencies, and private industry.

Technical Qualifications:
- Bachelor of Science degree in Electrical Engineering (not electronics)
- Licensed Professional Engineer (P.E.)
- Advanced Technical Education degrees (a plus)
- Computer Software Capable (for example: MathCAD, AutoCAD, Microsoft Office)
Experience in One or More of the Following Areas:
- Process Plants
- High Voltage Power Generation and Distribution
- Instrumentation and Controls
