Systems Sales Account Manager - Northeast Region
- Develop and cultivate business relationships with power utility, renewables, and data center generation industry Architects and Engineers, system integrators, and owner's engineer(s), as well as Emerson's sister business units (e.g., Rosemount) and the impact partner network
- Provide competitive differentiation and pricing strategy to PWS management along with negotiation leadership
- Provide technical presentations/demos to inform customers of new products, enhancements, and services
- Maintain knowledge of current utility water trends and business direction, as well as providing PWS Management with industry updates as appropriate
- Implementation of sales pursuit plans, proposal preparation (as required), and negotiation support to secure competitively held business as well as installed base, such as control system replacements
- Participation in select local professional meetings, trade shows, and conferences as a representative of Emerson
- Present and recommend appropriate Power & Water Solutions technology and services to meet specific customer business requirements
- Meet fiscal year territorial booking and margin objectives
- Strategic account development and creation/implementation of territory business plans
- Sales Forecasting and maintenance of the Customer Relationship Management tool (CRM)

You are capable to be visionary and able to articulately paint credible pictures and visions of possibilities and likelihoods. You work through formal and informal channels to build broad-based relationships and support.
- Bachelor's degree in Engineering, Computer Science, Business, or a related technical discipline. Equivalent combination of education and experience will be considered.
- A minimum of 3 years of experience in power generation, engineering, field service, marketing, or sales
- Willingness and ability to travel up to 75%
- Legal authorization to work in the United States without sponsorship now or in the future
- Bachelor's Degree in mechanical, electrical, chemical, or power generation-related field.
- 5 years of experience in process control sales, marketing, or related fields in power generation, power engineering, renewable energy, or related fields
- Experience establishing vertical and horizontal customer relationships
- Previous power plant experience strongly preferred
- Excellent verbal communications skills, especially when addressing customers, clients, or official visitors
