Job Title: Welder and Fitter

Job Description

We are seeking a skilled Welder and Fitter with expertise in Flux Core and Mig welding. The ideal candidate must be proficient in tack welding and repair welding, reading weld blueprints and diagrams, and performing layout and fitting together of weldments. You will work on assembling structural forms such as machinery frames, bridge parts, and pressure vessels.

Pay: $20-$25 starting

Responsibilities

• Perform Flux Core and Mig welding tasks, ensuring high-quality tack and repair welds.
• Read and interpret weld blueprints and diagrams accurately to fabricate and fit parts.
• Execute layout and fitting tasks to assemble metal components using blueprints.
• Collaborate with team members to ensure precise assembly of structural forms.

Essential Skills

• Proficiency in Flux Core and Mig welding techniques.
• Ability to read and interpret weld blueprints and diagrams.
• Experience in layout and fitting of metal components.

Additional Skills & Qualifications

• Experience with Stick welding.
• Knowledge in welding, layout, and fitting.

This is a Contract position based out of Donora, PA.

The pay range for this position is $18.00 - $24.00/hr.
