Sales account management trainer commercial - health services
Position Summary
The Sales & Account Management Trainer, Commercial Division is responsible for delivering world-class learning experiences that enable Commercial Sales and Account Management professionals to perform with confidence, clarity, and impact. This role translates business priorities, product strategies, and client engagement expectations into dynamic, learner-centered training that drives measurable sales and relationship outcomes.
Acting as both a facilitator and performance coach, the Trainer ensures the consistent application of sales process, client engagement frameworks, and solution positioning across the Commercial organization.
Key Responsibilities
Training Delivery & Facilitation
- Deliver high-quality instructor-led (virtual and in-person) training sessions across onboarding, core capability development, and ongoing readiness programs for Commercial Sales and Account Management.
- Facilitate engaging sessions that incorporate storytelling, role plays, case studies, and skill practice consistent with the L&D team’s “Teach–Demo–Do” model.
- Adapt delivery style to accommodate diverse audiences and learning modalities while maintaining consistent learner engagement and program fidelity.
- Serve as a coach and performance partner to reinforce learning on-the-job and drive behavioral change.
Program Execution & Readiness Support
- Partner closely with the Director, S/AM Training & Onboarding to plan and execute the Commercial training calendar, including onboarding waves and continuing education programs.
- Collaborate with the Curriculum Design & Experience team to ensure materials are accurate, visually aligned, and performance-focused.
- Provide feedback from the field to continuously improve learning programs, materials, and delivery methods.
- Support integration of digital learning tools (e.g., Allego, Salesforce contextual learning, and LXP modules) into live training experiences.
Business Partnership
- Build strong relationships with Commercial Sales and Account Management leadership to understand evolving priorities, skill gaps, and business opportunities.
- Partner with GTM Readiness and Change Management teams to ensure new products, tools, and processes are successfully integrated into Commercial learning plans.
- Serve as a subject matter resource on Commercial sales processes, client engagement best practices, and market trends.
Qualifications
- Bachelor’s degree in Business, Learning & Development, Communications, or related field.
- 5+ years of experience in training, facilitation, or sales enablement within a complex, client-facing organization.
- Demonstrated success delivering impactful learning programs for sales or account management audiences.
- Strong platform and facilitation skills; able to connect concepts to practical sales applications.
- Knowledge of adult learning principles, instructional delivery methods, and performance coaching techniques.
- Experience working with LMS/LXP platforms (e.g., Allego, Workday Learning) and CRM systems (Salesforce).
