The Job As a Trades Specialist, you'll be part of our Commercial Construction field sales team working as a field-based employee in Philadelphia, PA. You'll get to:- Achieve sales targets by representing DEWALT, STANLEY, LENOX, IRWIN, BOSTITCH, and other SBD brands to end-user customers.
- Establish, develop, and maintain key relationships with end-user partners through product and service solutions.
- Manage CORE and other SBD user contracts and programs for your assigned user responsibilities.
- Mentor your local market team on end-user development, including identifying key contacts and aligning with local market teams and distributors.
- Partner with Channel Marketing to implement and coordinate marketing initiatives.
- Utilize SalesForce.com as a CRM and planning tool to track activities, communicate results, and streamline processes.
- Communicate successes and challenges to drive continuous improvement with key accounts and opportunities.
- Travel within your territory (up to 50%) to engage with partners and customers.
- Maintain strong knowledge of SBD products, programs, and market trends.
- Support the execution of local and divisional market goals and objectives.

- Bachelor's degree in Business Management, Marketing, or a related field preferred; relevant construction field experience may substitute for higher education.
- 3+ years of sales or marketing experience in construction supplies, with a proven record of results and experience selling to high-level executives and jobsite directors preferred.
- Strong interpersonal, negotiation, problem-solving, and communication skills, both verbal and written.
- Valid driver's license and the ability to travel up to 50% within your territory.
- Proficiency in Microsoft Excel, PowerPoint, Word, and Outlook.
