About the Role

As General Manager of Engineering Services , you'll serve as a cross-functional leader, bridging high-level strategy with day-to-day execution. In this leadership role you will work to ensure operational alignment, standardization, and technical excellence across all engineering functions.

Key Responsibilities

• Provide hands-on support to department Directors to resolve technical challenges and maintain project excellence
• Standardize tools, workflows, and QA/QC processes across engineering groups
• Ensure compliance with internal standards, safety protocols, and industry regulations
• Promote collaboration and knowledge-sharing between Substation, Transmission, Distribution, and PMO teams
• Mentor and coach Directors to improve operational outcomes and develop leadership capabilities
• Assist with complex project scopes, technical proposals, and pricing validation
• Drive continuous improvement initiatives focused on innovation, efficiency, and profitability
• Represent ExecuPOWER in client meetings and escalations requiring senior technical oversight
• Support resource planning and recruitment to align with business growth
• Serve as a key player in executing strategic initiatives, including the launch of new services and tools

What You Bring

Must-Have Qualifications:

• Bachelor's degree (or higher) in Engineering from an ABET-accredited program
• 15+ years of progressive leadership experience in engineering or utility services
• Deep understanding of electric utility engineering across Substation, Transmission, and Distribution disciplines
• Experience managing large, multi-disciplinary teams
• Financial acumen, including budgeting, forecasting, and cost recovery
• Excellent communication and interpersonal skills for both client-facing and internal collaboration
• Ability to travel to client sites as needed
