Summary:
A Java Developer is responsible for building, testing, and maintaining Java-based enterprise applications. They work closely with business and technical teams to deliver scalable, secure, and high-performing solutions.
Key Responsibilities:
- Develop, test, and maintain Java applications according to specifications.
- Translate functional requirements into efficient, reusable code.
- Debug, troubleshoot, and resolve application issues.
- Collaborate with QA teams to ensure application quality.
- Maintain documentation of designs and code changes.
- Participate in design and code reviews.
- Optimize performance and scalability.
- Implement security best practices.
- Stay updated with emerging technologies.
- Mentor junior developers.
Qualifications:
• Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science or related field.
• 2-5 years of Java development experience.
• Proficiency in Core Java, Spring, Hibernate.
• Experience with relational and non-relational databases.
Preferred Skills/Duties:
• Familiarity with AWS, Azure, or GCP.
• Experience with Agile/Scrum.
• Knowledge of microservices and Docker/Kubernetes.
• Experience with Git or SVN.
