Customer Service Rep
The Customer Service & Order Entry Specialist serves as the vital link between our clients production floor and our valued clients. You aren't just "inputting data"—you are ensuring that complex technical specifications are translated accurately into production orders. This role requires a blend of high-level accuracy, technical aptitude, and the ability to maintain professional composure in a fast-paced manufacturing environment.
salary: $20 - $25 per hourshift: First
work hours: 8 AM - 4 PM
education: High School Responsibilities
- Precision Order Management: Receive, verify, and process high volumes of purchase orders (POs) via email, EDI, and phone into the ERP system.
- Technical Validation: Review orders for technical accuracy, pricing consistency, and lead-time feasibility before releasing them to the production team.
- Customer Advocacy: Act as the primary point of contact for clients regarding order status, shipping schedules, and basic product inquiries.
- Logistics Coordination: Collaborate with the Shipping and Warehouse departments to track outbound freight and provide customers with accurate tracking information.
- Problem Resolution: Proactively identify and resolve discrepancies in inventory, pricing, or delivery dates by communicating across departments (Sales, Engineering, and Production).
- Database Integrity: Maintain up-to-date customer files, including contact information, special shipping instructions, and tax-exempt certificates.
