Oracle Developer

Location: Harrisburg, PA
Position Type: Remote - East Coast based

We are seeking an experienced Oracle Commerce Cloud (OCC) Developer to support and enhance both B2B and B2C e-commerce platforms. This role involves production support, integration with Oracle systems, and the development of front-end and server-side OCC components.

Required Skills:

• Hands-on experience with Oracle Commerce Cloud (OCC) supporting B2B and B2C implementations.

• 3+ years of implementation or production support experience using OCC’s OSF framework (ReactJS, NodeJS, CSS).

• Completed at least two full-cycle e-commerce implementations using Oracle Commerce Cloud.

• Experience in gathering requirements and estimating development tasks for enhancements.

• Strong experience in customizing OCC’s Server Side Extensions (SSE).

• Proven ability to integrate major e-commerce components (personalization, OMS, subscriptions, etc.) into OCC platforms.

• Skilled in customizing shipping and payment options within OCC.

• Proficient with software engineering tools such as GIT, IDEs, and debugging tools.

Preferred Skills:

• Experience integrating OCC with Oracle Retail OMS, SCM, or other Oracle Retail apps.

• Familiarity with Java Spring Boot.

• Experience with Oracle Integration Cloud (OIC).

• Strong analytical and problem-solving capabilities.

• Ability to accurately define and refine requirements for new features and customizations.

• Excellent verbal and written communication skills for collaboration with technical and business teams.

Duties:

• Provide production support and issue triaging for B2B and B2C Oracle Commerce Cloud (OCC) portals.

• Deliver bug fixes and implement enhancements for ongoing portal improvements.

• Estimate development efforts for new feature requests and enhancements.

• Integrate OCC with inbound and outbound Oracle systems, including Oracle Cloud ERP and Oracle Cloud Retail applications (e.g., MFCS, SACS).

• Support patching activities in the OCC environment, including Oracle patch assessments.

• Provide comprehensive knowledge transfer (KT) to client IT support teams.

• Customize and enhance OCC’s Server-Side Extensions (SSE) based on business needs.

• Integrate e-commerce features such as personalization, shopping carts, OMS, subscriptions, payment gateways, and content management.

• Customize shipping and payment groups to meet project-specific requirements.

• Use development tools (IDEs, debuggers, GIT, etc.) to maintain clean, efficient, and scalable code.
