Production Team Member - East Canton, OH

Job description

We're looking for full-time Production Team Members at our East Canton, OH location. The Production Team Member is responsible for completing customer product requirements on time and with the highest quality within an assigned area while maintaining an environment that focuses on the Knight Material Technologies How We Work Principles of Safety and Compliance, Customer Focus, Respect, Integrity, Problem Solvers, and Teamwork. All shifts available.

Responsibilities:

• Consistently demonstrate and maintain an environment that puts Safety and Compliance first.
• Engage in the spirit outlined in the Knight Material Technologies How We Work Principles.
• Maintain regular attendance in accordance with Knight Material Technologies' attendance policy.
• Perform assigned duties to support the production of ceramic products required for customer demand, with attention to quality product output.
• Communicate regularly with the Manufacturing Operations Lead, Production Supervisor, and/or Production Manager to keep everyone informed of production delays.
• Update information on forms and in computer systems with accurate and timely data.
• Keep work areas and the factory floor clean and free from hazardous materials.
• Perform additional duties as assigned.

Requirements

• Willing and able to work in an environment that can be hot, humid, dusty, and noisy.
• Willing and able to adhere to safe work practices, including wearing appropriate PPE.
• Willing to be a contribution-minded member of a high-performing team.

Preferred Skills and Experience:

• Two (2) or more years of manufacturing experience.
• Press or extrusion experience.
• High School Diploma or GED.

Physical Requirements: (With reasonable accommodation)

• Extensive walking and standing.
• Must be able to lift up to 50 pounds.
• Must be able to access all areas of the facility.
• Willing and able to work in environments that may be hot, humid, dusty, and noisy; adherence to safe work practices and PPE is required.
