Associate Legal Manager

: Gopuff is seeking a practical, organized and business-focused legal professional to assume the role of Legal Manager, reporting to Gopuff's Corporate Counsel - Corporate and Risk Management. The Legal Manager will work in numerous facets of Gopuff's business, including insurance, privacy, general corporate and commercial matters, and research and new verticals. Gopuff takes pride in creative problem solving and in-person collaborating to make quick and informed decisions. This role will have a hybrid work schedule , where you will be able to showcase your creativity and build strong relationships with teams in a cross functional manner three days a week (Tuesday - Thursday) in our Philadelphia hub!

Responsibilities:

• Work with highly sensitive material and maintain absolute confidentiality at all times;
• Proactively identify and suggest opportunities for continuous improvement of processes across the legal function;
• Support the management and maintenance of the Company's global insurance program, including: managing the claims process and ongoing reporting requirements; responding to requests and questions about Gopuff's insurance policies; and supporting the annual policy renewal process;
• Support the management and maintenance of the Company's global privacy operations program, including: managing Gopuff's privacy center and responding to various privacy requests;
• Review of various commercial agreements and assisting business groups with contract compliance and interpretation;
• Maintain corporate records for the company and its subsidiaries;
• Assist the legal team with various ad hoc projects, including legal research;
• Be a self-starter, be able to multitask and work on multiple projects simultaneously; and
• Administrative functions including printing and mailing documents.

Qualifications:

• Seeking candidates with 5+ years of related experience at a law firm or corporate law department;
• Must hold a Bachelor's Degree or paralegal certificate;
• Experience negotiating and drafting contracts, with an eye towards both legal and financial/commercial issues;
• Experience managing and maintaining legal entities;
• Experience with insurance programs and claims management a plus;
• Ability to prioritize, remain organized, and execute effectively within a fast paced, team-oriented environment;
• A detail-oriented, self-starter attitude with the ability to think critically and exercise independent judgment;
• Strong interpersonal and presentation skills, along with the ability to communicate effectively with others at all levels of the organization; and
• Ability to establish and maintain strong relationships across the organization's various departments.

Compensation:

• Gopuff pays employees based on market pricing and pay may vary depending on your location. The salary range below reflects what we'd reasonably expect to pay candidates. A candidate's starting pay will be determined based on job-related skills, experience, qualifications, work location, and market conditions. These ranges may be modified in the future. • Salary Range: $79,000 - $132,600
