Yale Electric Supply, An affiliate of USESI, is looking for a motivated and enthusiastic Inside Sales Associate to join our team. This position will be located in our Harrisburg, PA location.

Function:

The Inside Sales Representative is responsible for providing exceptional customer service and sales support by processing orders, preparing quotes, and maintaining strong relationships with customers. This position specifically focuses on servicing commercial and industrial accounts, requiring a strong understanding of their unique product and service needs. The role supports both walk-in and phone-in customers, works closely with the outside sales team, and ensures timely and accurate order fulfillment.

Duties & Responsibilities:

• Processes telephone orders by quoting product, prices, delivery specifications and payment terms and by offering substitute products where appropriate.
• Assists outside sales personnel by processing priority transactions.
• Establishes and maintains customer relationships, communications with customers and co-workers to provide technical information and recommendations.
• Contacting regular and prospective customers to demonstrate products, explain product features, and solicit orders.
• Participates in training opportunities to enhance and maintain personal and product knowledge.
• Gains familiarity with the day-to-day operations of the business and participates in improving operations by offering potential alternatives to existing methods.
• Estimating or quoting prices with delivery dates
• Consulting with clients after sales or contract signing to resolve problems and provide ongoing support.
• Provides follow-up for customer quotes and lost sales.
• Other duties as assigned by supervisor.

Qualifications:

• High school diploma with minimum 2 years related experience
• Effective written and verbal communication
• Knowledge of Eclipse or ERP software a plus
• Able to prioritize work in multi-tasking environment
• Able to meet tight deadlines, and follow up on commitments
• Strong sales and customer service aptitude
