Job Description Summary:

Join a CPA Firm, with headquarters in Bucks and Chester Counties, with remote work most days. GW Tax and Accounting is a mid sized fast growing firm, growing from 5 to 50 staff members in the last 4 years. GW provides tax, accounting, and bookkeeping services to business owners, executives, and independent professionals. We are looking to hire a fulltime professional with a minimum of 7 years of experience. GW is a family culture, which promotes transparency in a collaborative environment.

Duties, Responsibilities

Tax Services

· Provides review, management and thorough final detail review of tax returns in consideration of tax needs and compliance requirements for individuals, partnerships, corporations, and estates, including general advisory services, (e.g. 1040, 1065, 1120, 1120S, 1041, 990, 5500).

· Provides, when not reviewing or managing returns, full-service preparation of tax returns (e.g. 1040, 1065, 1120, 1120S, 1041, 990, 5500).

· Provides tax projections, planning, and tax notices, etc.

Accounting & Bookkeeping Services

· Manages professional accounting and bookkeeping services for business owners.

· Manages financial records, transactions, entries, payments and reporting primarily using QuickBooks.

Firm Support

· Manages client relationships and serves as primary point of contact.

· Help streamline operations plus helps train and educate staff.

· Advises biz owners on tax compliance, financial records and other matters as needed.

· Independently tracks deliverables and identifies additional advisory opportunities with existing clients.

Critical Skills & Experience

· A “Doer”, not afraid to roll up sleeves

· Hands on, not a delegator for deliverables reports and tools

· Tax Software is Ultra Tax with Onvio (preferred)

· QuickBooks Online, QuickBooks Desktop expertise

· Technology savvy , proficient user of MS Office tools

Education & Certification:

· CPA designation (strongly preferred)

· Bachelor’s degree in Accounting or Advanced degree (strongly preferred)

· Remote work environment

· Occasional office and client meeting location: Bucks County PA - 85 South Main Street, Suite 201, Yardley, PA 19067

Compensation, Salary:

· Salary depending on experience
