Bachelor's or Master's degree in Special Education, active Special Education Teacher license and minimum 1+ years Special Education Teacher experience required. Applicants who do not meet these qualifications will not be considered.

A K-12 educational institution in the Reading, PA area is seeking dedicated Special Education Teachers for the uping school year. This contract opportunity offers multiple openings across grades K-5, 6-8, and 9-12, serving students with diverse learning needs.

Key Responsibilities:

• Develop and implement individualized education plans (IEPs) tailored to each students unique abilities and challenges.
• Collaborate with general education teachers, parents, and support staff to create inclusive learning environments.
• Monitor and assess student progress, adjusting instructional strategies accordingly.
• Maintain accurate records and municate effectively with all stakeholders.
• Support students social and emotional growth alongside academic development.

Qualifications:

• Valid Special Education teaching certification (non-emergency certified candidates are currently not being accepted).
• Experience teaching grades K-5, 6-8, or 9-12 in a special education setting.
• Strong knowledge of special education laws, best practices, and instructional strategies.
• Excellent munication and collaboration skills.
• Patience, empathy, and a mitment to student success.

• Reading, PA and surrounding Lancaster area schools.
