Position Summary:
The Investment Associate is a highly execution-focused role supporting client’s investment activities and portfolio management

Responsibilities:

• Assist in the analysis and evaluation of investment opportunities.
• Support portfolio management activities, including monitoring and reporting.
• Conduct market research and provide insights to inform investment decisions.
• Collaborate with team members to develop and implement investment strategies.
• Prepare detailed reports and presentations for stakeholders.

Primary Responsibilities:
Investment Operations and Transaction Support:

• Maintain and manage master portfolio data within Salesforce
• Track follow-on investments and pipeline activity
• Prepare materials for internal discussions and Investment Committee meetings
• Coordinate diligence workflows (documents, reference calls, analyses)
• Take minutes and distribute IC materials
• Support legal documentation and compliance processes

Portfolio Monitoring and Reporting:

• Manage quarterly reporting processes for Riverfront Ventures
• Support annual portfolio company valuations (with auditors)
• Maintain updated revenue, investment, and activity tracking
• Input data into PitchBook and CB Insights
• Ensure system accuracy and data integrity

Investor Relations and Ecosystem Engagement:

• Maintain investor CRM and engagement tracking
• Prepare investor meeting materials
• Coordinate logistics for investor programs and matchmaking sessions
• Attend regional venture fairs and ecosystem events (minimal travel)
• Portfolio Company Support
• Assist startups with financial modeling and fundraising preparation
• Develop investor lists, benchmarking reports, and research packets

Data, Research and Communications:

• Prepare portfolio metrics, dashboards, and data extracts
• Support annual Investment Landscape Report (in collaboration with EY)
• Conduct market research and competitive landscape analysis
• Track regional and client-specific financing trends

Required Qualifications:

• 5 + Years of experience / Bachelor’s degree required (Finance, Business, Economics, Engineering, or technical preferred).
• Salesforce or CRM experience preferred.
• Familiarity with venture financing structures is a plus.
• Strong Excel and financial modeling skills required.

Pay Range: $115K - $120K - Yearly

The specific compensation for this position will be determined by several factors, including the scope, complexity, and location of the role, as well as the cost of labor in the market; the skills, education, training, credentials, and experience of the candidate; and other conditions of employment.
