Job Details

This role is responsible for supporting the secondary pricing market by providing timely analysis, recommendations, and in the moment price decisions related to Cencora’s pharmaceutical business.

Responsibilities

• Handles incoming inquiries for customer & product pricing requests, bulk buys and product bids in a fast-paced environment

• Preform financial analysis and approve/deny requested prices by sales team

• The ability to effectively gather, analyze and understand large data sets to determine the correct pricing decision with the data to support it

• Works to develop a good understanding of the PRxO Generics solutions, messaging, and market strategies.

• Effectively communicate data driven pricing decisions to the inside sales lead team in a professional manor

• Interpret and analyze competitive data to provide input to pricing team while using that information to support item level pricing approval/denials

• Documents processes and procedures related to primary duties and responsibilities

• Participates in conducting leakage analysis, interpretation and reporting to customer/chain/channel level

• Effectively analyze data to report on the results of previously run campaigns/specials

• Performs related duties as assigned.

Educational and Work Experience

Requires broad training in fields such as business administration, finance, accountancy, sales, marketing, computer sciences or similar vocations generally obtained through completion of a four-year bachelor’s Degree Program or equivalent work experience. Normally requires no directly related and progressively responsible experience.

Skills and Knowledge

• Excellent knowledge of Microsoft Office applications such as Word, Excel and PowerPoint; with proficiency in Access preferred

• Experience with Business Objects or other report writing tools preferred

• Knowledge of SAP systems

• Strong analytical skills

• Excellent organizational skills; attention to detail

• Ability to communicate effectively, both verbally and in writing

• Excellent interpersonal and customer service skills

• Ability to work well within a team environment

• Ability to manage multiple priorities and deadlines in a fast-paced work environment

• Ability to exercise independent judgment and provide insight and recommendations to management
