Account Executive - Harrisburg
DESCRIPTION OF EMPLOYER: Founded in 1901, Feeser’s, Inc. is a family owned and operated full-line foodservice distributor located in Harrisburg, PA servicing the Mid-Atlantic region. Feeser’s provides an expansive offering of dry, refrigerated, and frozen products to a diverse customer base comprised of restaurants, healthcare facilities, educational facilities, and other institutions.
SUMMARY: The role of the Account Executive is to directly support a senior sales representative in all day-to-day activities and customer interactions. The Account Executive will play a key role in prospecting and opening new customer accounts and driving growth across their Sales Representatives’ customer base. The Account Executive will be transitioned to a Sales Representative once they have completed all necessary steps in the sales training program .
ESSENTIAL DUTIES AND RESPONSIBILITIES
Take direction and support the senior sales representative throughout their daily activities.
Begin building and maintaining a network of sources from which to identify new sales leads.
Utilize all available resources to learn the products and services offered by Feeser’s and the best ways to approach selling.
Learn sales strategies from senior sales representatives including identifying and suggesting products and services to meet a customer’s needs and demonstrating products.
Ensure customer satisfaction through ongoing communication and relationship management; resolve any issues that may arise post-sale.
Learn cadence of daily, weekly and monthly sales and margin reporting, ability to explain performance and define action items to meet and/or exceed budget.
Maintain detailed reports of sales activities including calls, orders, sales, lost business, and any customer or vendor relationship problems within the CRM system.
Day-to-day sales calls for your senior sales representative’s customer base.
Assist customers with product questions, market updates, and menu/recipe ideas.
Answer all customer calls and questions in a precise, timely manner.
Learn the process for managing all account receivables within the assigned territory.
Participation in general sales meetings and regional sales meetings both in person and virtually.
Work with all departments with Feeser’s including Transportation, Purchasing and Warehouse.
Participation in training seminars, Manufacturer Tours, and Food Shows.
Work with Brokers and Manufacturer Reps by selling specific new items to customers in assigned territory.
Perform administrative duties, such as processing credits and pick-up requests.

Proficient with Microsoft Office Suite or related software.
QUALIFICATIONS & EXPERIENCE:
High school diploma, GED or degree in Business, Sales, Marketing, Hospitality or Culinary arts (required).
6 months of sales, and/or chef/restaurant experience (required).
CERTIFICATES, LICENSES AND REGISTRATIONS:
Valid driver's license with a "clean" driving record (including no single DUI in the last 3 years and no multiple DUIs within the last 7 years).
Current automobile insurance with the following limits of liability: Bodily injury - $100,000 for each person and $300,000 for each accident; property damage - $100,000 is required.
PHYSICAL REQUIREMENTS:
Moving self in different positions to accomplish tasks in various environments, including tight and confined spaces.
Ability to physically stand, bend, squat, and lift equipment up to 100 pounds.
Remaining in a stationary position, often standing or sitting for prolonged periods.
Moving about accomplishing tasks or moving from one work site to another.
Communicating with others to exchange information.
Repeating motions that may include the wrists, hands, and/or fingers.
Operating motor vehicles or heavy equipment.
Outdoor elements such as precipitation and wind.
Must possess visual acuity, i.e., close, distance, and color vision, depth perception, and the ability to adjust.
