Position Summary:
We are seeking a Commercial Loan Post Closing Leader to join a leading regional financial services organization supporting commercial banking operations. This remote consultant will guide the implementation phase of a Post Close Redesign initiative, partnering with project leadership and operational teams to optimize workflows and ensure risk-based post-closing procedures are successfully implemented.
Essential Duties:
· Lead the next phase of a Commercial Loan Post-Close Redesign initiative within Commercial Loan Operations.
· Assess current-state workflows and process documentation to identify operational improvement opportunities.
· Manage daily team operations, including workflow oversight, prioritization, and stakeholder communication.
· Align operational procedures with defined project criteria and regulatory compliance standards.
· Facilitate project meetings, track milestones, and maintain progress toward implementation deadlines.
· Collaborate with Commercial Loan Operations, Risk, and Quality Assurance teams to support redesign success.
· Provide leadership, coaching, and guidance to staff and consultants throughout the transformation process.
Qualifications:
· Bachelor's degree in Finance, Business Administration, Accounting, or related field.
· 7+ years of experience in Commercial Loan Operations or related banking operations.
· Demonstrated experience managing process redesign, operational transformation, or workflow improvement initiatives.
· Experience working within mid-to-large financial institutions preferred.
Skills and Job-Specific Competencies:
· Strong knowledge of commercial loan documentation and post-close review processes.
· Experience with risk-based review frameworks and compliance standards.
· Proficiency in Excel and familiarity with loan systems or banking operations platforms.
· Experience with process mapping or workflow management tools.
· Strong communication and stakeholder management skills.
· Analytical problem-solving and organizational abilities.
· Ability to lead teams through operational change while maintaining continuity.
Travel Requirements: No travel will be required, unless at the client's discretion.

Salary Range: SolomonEdwards values your unique and individual experience and background. As such, we take a comprehensive approach when determining compensation for our roles. The compensation for this specific role is based on a wide range of factors, including but not limited to education, licensure and certifications, location, experience, and training. A reasonable estimate for the current hourly range for this role is $75 - 80.
