Position Summary
The Registered Nurse – Cardiovascular Operating Room (RN-CVOR) provides specialized perioperative nursing care for cardiovascular and open-heart procedures in a Level I Trauma setting. This position requires advanced clinical knowledge, strong scrub skills, and the ability to function effectively in high-acuity and complex surgical environments.
Requirements
- Active RN license (Pennsylvania or compact eligible)
- Minimum 1 year of Level I Trauma OR experience within the last 3 years
- Must have current scrub experience
- Cardiovascular/open-heart surgical experience required
- BLS certification (ACLS preferred)
- Strong critical thinking and adaptability in high-acuity settings
