Structural Engineer – Building Design
Center City Philadelphia, PA
A well-established consulting engineering firm in Center City Philadelphia is seeking a Structural Engineer with 5+ years of experience in building design to join its growing team.
Responsibilities:
- Design structural systems for commercial, institutional, residential, and mixed-use buildings
- Prepare calculations, construction documents, and technical specifications
- Perform structural analysis and coordinate with architects and MEP disciplines
- Conduct field investigations and construction administration services
- Collaborate with project managers and clients throughout project lifecycles
Requirements:
- Bachelor's Degree in Civil or Structural Engineering
- 5+ years of structural engineering experience focused on buildings
- Experience with steel, concrete, masonry, and wood design
- Proficiency with structural analysis and design software
- EIT required; PE license preferred or on track to obtain
- Strong communication and project coordination skills
