Radiologic Technologist Job Details

• Location: Scranton, Pennsylvania (18510) – Ideal for healthcare professionals seeking Pennsylvania radiology jobs
• Assignment Type: Travel Contract
• Start Date: August 18, 2025
• End Date: November 16, 2025
• Contract Duration: 13 weeks
• Shift: 12-hour day shifts (7:30am – 8:00pm), every Saturday and Sunday plus one rotating weekday; no call required
• Hours per Week: 36
• Open Positions: 2
• Hourly Pay Rate: $115
• Estimated Weekly Salary Range: $2,580 - $2,650

Radiologic Technologist Qualifications

• Graduate of an accredited Radiologic Technology program
• Certified Radiologic Technologist (ARRT) – required for all radiology jobs
• Interventional Technologist certification preferred
• Minimum 1 year of experience in Interventional Radiology or related radiology specialty
• Proficient in digital imaging equipment and radiology safety protocols
• Strong teamwork and communication skills in a fast-paced clinical setting

Key Responsibilities in Interventional Radiology

• Perform Interventional, Neuro, and Endovascular radiology procedures, ensuring patient safety and technical accuracy
• Assist Interventionalists with equipment operation, patient positioning, and instrument handling during procedures
• Prepare and position patients, administer contrast media as directed, and ensure radiation protection
• Operate and monitor advanced digital imaging equipment, including 3D reconstruction and digital subtraction angiography
• Document all procedures, patient responses, and changes in condition in compliance with healthcare regulations
• Maintain, clean, and order interventional radiology supplies and equipment
• Participate in quality control, regulatory compliance, and continuous improvement initiatives within the radiology department
• Educate and support patients throughout their procedures, providing clear communication and reassurance
